Editorial Methodology
The kijun blog is written for Shopify merchants who are evaluating their options as they move off Shopify Stocky. The goal of every article is to help store owners and operations teams make practical, well-sourced decisions about inventory, purchase orders, and supplier workflows after Stocky — not to sell a single answer.
How we source claims
- Every factual claim is tied to a primary or high-confidence source. We prefer first-party documentation over second-hand summaries.
- Facts about Shopify and Stocky are sourced from the Shopify Help Center whenever a relevant page exists, and we link to it so readers can verify the detail themselves.
- We do not invent dates, capabilities, or behavior. If a detail cannot be tied to a reliable source, we leave it out rather than guess.
How we describe kijun
kijun is the product behind this blog, so we hold its mentions to a higher bar than anything else. Any claim about what kijun does is limited to verifiable product facts: kijun builds supplier scorecards from supported supplier/vendor records and purchase orders recorded in kijun. We do not describe kijun as a full Stocky replacement, and we do not claim features it does not have, such as demand forecasting or automatic reordering.
Editorial integrity
- No fake testimonials, fake reviews, fake user-generated content, or review-star manipulation appears anywhere on this blog.
- We never imply that Shopify recommends, endorses, or is affiliated with kijun. Shopify and Stocky are trademarks of Shopify Inc.; kijun is an independent product.
- Articles are produced with AI assistance and then reviewed by the kijun team for sourcing and accuracy before they are published. The byline is the kijun editorial team, never an AI persona.
Updates and corrections
Stocky's sunset and Shopify's native tooling are still changing, so these articles are living documents. When a source fact or product behavior changes, we update the affected article and revise its last-updated date. If you spot something that looks out of date or incorrect, please tell us.
